The Water Leak Sensor detects moisture using two metal contacts on the end of a 91cm wire connected to the sensor. Place the Water Leak Sensor in areas like bathrooms, basements, or cabinets contacts can easily detect a pool of water forming, runs off two AAA batteries (not included). When a leak is detected it will send a notification to your phone as well as triggering an audible alarm
