Inspired by a British Army Greatcoat we have used the heritage wool fabric that was created in 1939 for this iconic piece of protective outerwear. This particular wool melton has been woven for us by Abraham Moon & Sons in Guiseley, Yorkshire. Whereas the original Greatcoat, worn by the Army Captains leading the charge at Dunkirk, were cut to sit below the knee, the Wragby is shorter whilst retaining that iconic double-breasted detailing.
